The calm before the storm…

I’m sure our view from the kitchen will be a much different one upon waking tomorrow. I’m off to go buy water and “hunkering down” food and movies. Stay tuned…

Whew, it’s like a mini pillow factory here this week. I’m getting a few wholesale orders out the door as well as working in some bright colors for all of you to view in my online stores. Wool fibers and stuffing are flying around the room in every color imaginable. If there is a color you’d like to see, do let me know!

Have you heard of Pioneer Woman? Click the link…I promise she’s fun. I’m sure I was one of the last people to run across the fun musings about daily life on a ranch in Oklahoma that makes up “Pioneer Woman”. Sound dull? Anything but! My daily blog reading is next to nil lately but Pioneer Woman often draws me in with her interesting stories, recipes, photography and more. I do love a good blog just like a good magazine.

Anyway…I don’t usually enter photo contests. I didn’t even realize this was a contest but last week on Pioneer woman people were submitting photos to her sunset theme. I took a nice shot of a special family we’ve come to know since moving to NC. It was taken at sunset last year. On a whim, I submitted it. And it became a finalist! How fun is that?!

My goal with this photo was not only to get a nice photo for my friends but also to show man’s response to what the heavens declare. We are but specks in the universe God created yet he sees fit to give each one of us our own unique fingerprint. Magnificent.

I’m pleased to have you browsing! A little background about myself and my products…

I’m Angella Eisman, a bit of a Jane-of-all-trades. Over the years I’ve enjoyed working in print design, illustration, web design, fine art, pottery, photography, children’s clothing design and more. This past year I’ve added women’s accessories and home decor. Why not, eh? I tend to move from one thing to the next. I use to wonder why I could never focus in one area. But why? It’s fun to move from one thing to the next and just explore the creative ideas that come. Then offer them to the world. Then move on to the next.

My current product line was started on a whim. And the whim sold very well…an answered prayer. Having my scarf design featured on the Today Show was wonderful and pushed me along. So here I am, starting a simple store for my products in the hopes that you might find them creative and lovely as well. I take great care in each one…from the design to the materials to the construction.
