Ah, happy spring! Photo was taken a couple mornings ago from the front deck. It is so good to see signs of spring.
I’m still around! And possessing a new understand and appreciation for people who live through a big remodeling job in their home! We are finally in the stage of our work where we can move in. Sans trim, doors and details…but who cares at this point! We were about to poke each others eyes out over all the boxes, clutter and the maze of furniture we’ve had stored on our main floor while the other was being completed.
My new studio saw its first bit of sewing work the last few days. I’d take a photo but seriously, imagine four white walls and a big closet and you’ve got it. I’m excited to slowly decorate and make it an inspiring place to work.
Along with my new workspace we also added a craft/homework area for the kids, family room for all of us, laundry room, bathroom and a workout room. Woot! It seems a little overwhelming at the moment as I try to figure out how to pull together a decorating scheme. But I’m sure Apartment Therapy, Design Sponge, Decor8 and many other blogs will give lots of inspiration!
